Should we make the Bookface theme the site's default for friendica.world?
Or should we leave it at the standard 'frio' theme and let users decide for themselves.
I'm just thinking users might not know about the Bookface theme. And in my opinion it makes the site more user-friendly.

@ruud user-friendly should always be default. Us tech nerds will find out how to change things to our liking.
Do you know if any development is on a official Friendica app on android like Pixelfed has a app?
I tried Raccoon, which is fine but if it replaces facebook it needs facebook features which imo is events and big groups. I can't seem to find out how to make a event on raccoon, may not be supported.

There are certain behaviors among Americans that annoy the rest of us. One such behavior that comes to mind is littering. A significant portion of our population will just toss garbage onto the side of the road. McDonald's bags along the roadside are indicative of this behavior, and I always think, 'Really? You can't wait until there's a trash can available?' Another glaring example is the person who empties their car's ashtray onto the ground in a parking lot. Bottles, cans, and wrappers—oh my! Speaking of wrappers, the last people I hired to do some work on my yard left candy wrappers here and there, which I had to pick up. The irony was that their job was to rake leaves and pick up tree debris.

That is interesting. I'm not aware of how Canadian Citys normally manage litter. The only time I've been across the northern border is following the northern shore of Lake Superior and there was really nothing but forests.

Good morning Fellow Travellers around the Sun 🌞 Late one for me today as I make the most of my last long lie before going back to work tomorrow. It's a lovely morning and Grant headed out to go birding as soon as it became light, so no doubt he'll have lots of "cousins" to tell Ziggy about later 😊 She is currently chewing on her plastic links and grumbling away happily to herself after the initial noise as I came into the living room with my coffee. There's nothing like the pure excitement of your parrots greeting you first thing to make your day 😊
Fresh chop to make this morning after coffee and another batch of sprouts to get going, then the usual Sunday chores and I need to activate my crochet listing again and start looking for yarn for my next project.

Sooooo.... Watching some Cold Case steaming through the PS3 now, as I need to charge the controllers, and my USB cables are too short for me to play while they are connected.
Unfortunately, the PS3 controllers can't be charged with a normal USB charger. For some reason they need to be connected to the PS3 while it's on... So yeah, if the system needs to be on anyway, best use it to watch something. 😊
Owwww and... I hooked up the PS2 to the HDMI converter, and I hooked that up to the switch and... It works!
There's no fancy upscaling in my converter, it was too cheap for that. But hey, it works, so now I can use the PS2 on the big telly. 😊
The CSI game was apparently still in the drive, so when I tried it, that's what the PS2 loaded up...

Had the PS3 hooked to the LAN, but it said it had no internet... 🤔
It was still set to wifi, and I needed to manually switch.
It sees the internet and... It got an update! The old phat PS3 got an update....
Letting the PS3 do a speed test now and... The results are rather low... Which I think may be the limits of the PSN/PS3, as I know my connection is a "wee bit" better than this...

Good morning fellow Mastos and hello Sunday. A day of rest but I doubt MrsD will be resting, even with her poorly foot. I do my best to keep her tied down, but she wants to be up and "doing something ". She's an absolute bugger when she's ill! Wish me luck.

So, the different HDMI cable didn't help... I tried to switch the Blu-ray with the PS3, and... The PS3 works on the HDMI switch. Yay!
The controller I grabbed was as dead as could be, so it's charging now. 😊
And for some reason, the automatic time settings were way off... 🤔 So I did a manual one instead.
There are some games installed on the HD, and I have a few disc games too... So when the controller has been charged, I could game on the PS3 again.
Hopefully next week, I can attach the Wii and the PS2 as well. 😊

It's me again!
This morning, I tried to use the Blu-ray player through the HDMI switch. And... It didn't work, the TV gave an error that the product that had need hooked up wasn't powered on, meaning there was no signal...
I have two more HDMI cables, so when there's a bit more light out, I'll see if I can switch the cable that's connected now with another one I have... Maybe that will do the trick?
It's a switch, with power adapter, and a little remote. It is a 4K one, so it should be able to handle the Blu-ray...
So I wonder if it's just the cable that's not suitable... 🤔 Or if this is something that can't be routed through a switch?
Anywhoo.... Playing a little NMS at the moment, just relaxing, while Arwen is snoring next to me. 😊

This particular person has left a stream of broken relationships in their wake. Their relationships with their adult kids are loving but always strained. They show signs of clinging onto their remaining friends, delaying the end of social occasions etc to hang onto that social contact. They can be draining to be with, because of their intensity.
If asked, I’m sure they would say that they’ve had a “good life”, & in many respects they have. But it’s been such hard work. They are the perfect example of projection. Nothing is their “fault”.
I can see this because in many ways it reflects how I have been. I feel sad for them, because I get it.
