Monday has chased Sunday away again - big bully!
It’s a cloudy day today with a promised high of 7ºC aka as ‘flippin cold’, but thankfully no rain!
My hands have been really painful the last couple of days with major bouts of pins & needles in ‘normal’ use so I’m going to limit myself to critical chores & might even lay off gaming for the day & just rest my hands to see if that helps any. Back to gravel cleaning once the weather warms up mid-week whatever so gonna give my mits a chance to recover before then.

It’s nothing new, a slow progression that started with being a clarinet player, and then using some crappy keyboards back in the 90s and 2000s. I remember I chose to go into database work over coding because I thought it would have less typing, but this was before ubiquitous smartphones and remote work making all my communication text-based.
It seems like my latest problem is that the carpal tunnel got worse, and my physio wants me to wear wrist braces during stuff like gaming, though that gets in the way of the grip of the controller. And she normally tells me not to wear braces for my issues. Anyway, physiotherapists can be helpful figuring out what’s wrong.

Yeah, for me it makes sense to skip the GP and go straight to the physio, since I have a specific one I’ve gone to, off and on, for over a decade. I’d go to a GP only if we felt I needed meds or surgery.

Decided to get a short ride on the hometrainer before working on my blog. Just a short one, then I'll do a few dumbbell exercises. I don't want to miss out on them. And if I do the blog first then I guess I'll just "forget" about the exercises...

Sunday started around 07:30 & has been a quiet & relaxed day.
I’ve read a little & we binge watched ‘The Long Shadow’.
We had lasagne for tea & finished the evening with an episode of ‘Poirot’, the TV equivalent of a warm bath.
Final Thoughts.
Some days go really slowly, some in the blink of an eye. Today was one of the latter!

The weekend highlight was a live screening of The Met Opera Fidelio at a local cinema. A great production. Beethovan's music was wonderful, of course. A bonkers storyline is to be expected, but it was a great evening despite not a particular fan of opera.

Some days, I really miss not having a printer...
I used to print these walk through guides for games like the Dark Pictures anthology series, so I could easily make notes and all, while trying to get the trophies 🏆.
Now, I need to use the tablet or phone with just the website open and it works, mostly, but the papers were easier. Notes, extra additional information that I found on other sites, so I had it all in one spot while playing the game...
Ah well...
Let's see how well I can do this...

I would love to have a new printer, but I'd like one that doesn't mess around with the ink (aka that allows the cheaper brands to be used as well), with separate cartridges, and that I can use from my cellphone...
There are some proper ones out there, but I just don't have the funds at the moment.... 😔

Good morning Fellow Travellers Around the Sun 🌞 How on earth are we at the end of the week already? March is just zooming past! When I had finished cleaning the parrots' cages this morning and opened Ziggy's door to let her out she immediately said "Good Moo!" again and blew me a kiss. Then she pooped, said "Poop!" just to let me know, hopped onto my shoulder, tucked herself under my chin and said "Good bird!', which of course she is. It does not matter how weary I may feel in the morning, a little shot of Ziggy just perks me right up 😊
Parrot kitchen today: fresh chop and that hummus to make. The chickpeas have been soaking in the fridge for three days now so they will cook up nicely in the One Pot. After that I will be working on the competition crochet toy and watching something, still to be decided.
