The world is accelerating towards climate breakdown.
The carbon concentration is at around 430ppm in 2025.
The carbon concentration was at around 415ppm in 2018, when I started climate activism.
The carbon concentration was at around 335ppm in 1976, when I was born.
The historically stable carbon concentration at around 280ppm was still an (incorrect) fact in the textbooks my father was taught at school in the 1960s.

@Wilmar Igl, PhD last time I tried it, it was full of advertisement that had to be clicked away.. but otherwise good. then I wanted to try it again, but couldn't find it in the Void Linux Repos.. and now, it seems to be available in Void Linux.. but in nonfree repo.. maybe I'll try again.. or maybe not.. maybe later.. thanks anyway. it's hard to find a good browser

I agree with the article by WIRED that sidebars for tabs and bookmarks give a superior browsing experience. CHROME's extension for bookmark sidebar is flawed though because the sidebar width cannot be reduced and takes too much "real estate" on screen. FIREFOX is good, but causes sometimes issues (disconnects) in video calls with MS TEAMS. OPERA GX is a fantastic browser with sidebars, but only available on MS Windows. OPERA ONE is available for Linux, but had issues with playing social media videos on Linux. Therefore, my recommendation for a state-of-the-art, cross-platform, feature-rich browser (with sidebars) is VIVALDI browser.

Well-maintained Friendica instance with BlueSky Bridge?
Dear all, I am looking for a well-maintained Friendica instance with a BlueSky Bridge. I am currently on friendica.world, and after a great start the Bluesky bridge has not been working reliable anymore for several weeks (ie, I get Bluesky posts, but cannot post to Bluesky), presumably because of a problem with the workers. Any advice?

Have you tried to enter your password again? What is the system saying on the addon setting page?
It seems the admin has removed the Bluesky addon on friendica.world now. Therefore, I have moved to joinfriendica.de, which works very well incl. the Bluesky addon.

Die Klimapolitik auf dem gesamten amerikanischen Kontinent hat auch Auswirkungen auf den Rest des Erdballs.

Über 3.000 Menschen sind im letzten Jahr in Deutschland durch extreme Hitze ums Leben gekommen. Die tauchen nicht in Nachrichten und in Schlagzeilen auf. Sie sterben leise in ihren Wohnungen und Häusern. Meist alte Menschen oder sehr junge.
Städte sind auf das sich verändernde Klima und die sich verdoppelten Hitzetage im Sommer nicht ansatzweise vorbereitet! Es besteht dringend Handlungsbedarf …
