I'm interested to know whether other pinhole photographers think I should have increased the exposure to preserve more of the shadows in this shot.

I know that reciprocity failure causes the highlights to get more burned in disproportionately. So I just wonder if increasing the exposure would cause highlights to totally saturate.

Havré framed by arch

I took a bunch of photos of this ruined castle with different cameras that day. The Minolta SLR was a €45 thrift store find that works perfectly. This was an entry level consumer grade camera in the 90's. But there's no way you'd figure it out from the photos.

Exploring the ruins of the Abbey of Villers-de-Ville, Belgium

The ruins of the Abbey of Villers-de-Ville (from 1197 CE), a site of the Cistercian Order, are spectacular. Well worth spending a morning exploring.
