"Musk’s stake in Tesla comprises the lion’s share of his wealth. He can laugh off a few protesters, but if consumers launch a sustained boycott, both Musk and his car company could find themselves in dire straits. Tesla was already in a precarious position before Musk’s flirtation with the far right turned into an all-out embrace. Nosediving sales would be an incapacitating blow."

Denmark have countered Trump's claim to Greenland with a counter-claim to California.
Yes, this is serious. It's so serious they are sending the cast of Borgen to negotiate! That's how very serious it is.

"Just for the record, I was racist before it was cool."
- Marko Elez
Marko Elez, a 25-year-old software engineer, was working inside the Treasury Department to cut costs and root out fraud, as part of Musk's DOGE effort.
Elez was one of two temporary appointees at Treasury connected to DOGE who have been granted access to a highly sensitive Treasury system that processes trillions of dollars in payments annually.

Is a dictatorship good for business?
“You may have noticed that wealthy international businessmen—the jet set class with the means to be anywhere—do not typically choose to live and headquarter their businesses in Russia. Nor do they choose to base themselves in Hungary, or El Salvador, or North Korea.”

In 1947 after the genocide in WW2 Jews left Europe and were granted a homeland on land that was already populated.
In 2025 after the Genocide in Gaza, Palestinians are being told to move out of their land and they need a new homeland. Probably on land that that is already populated. My best guess would be to give them Alabama.
Trump to Musk: Canada is mining and selling too many minerals.
Musk: What are you going to do?
Trump: Order tariffs to make them mine less.
Musk: *Mine fewer.
Trump: Shhh, don't call me that yet.

Today, in the UK, on Radio 4, the announcer mentioned that today was Holocaust Memorial Day and that up to 50 survivors were meeting at Auschwitz in a ceremony attended by the King. She mentioned the murder of 1.1m prisoners at the camp.
Later in the program, they pause for "Thought for the day" which today was being read by the Chief Rabbi. In his address he mentioned the almost 1m Jews that had been killed in Auschwitz.
The difference between the two numbers? They were non-Jews.
This is to remember the 150,000 Soviets, Poles, Communists, homosexuals, etc., that were killed in Auschwitz but who are not included in the Chief Rabbi's remembrance.

Sorry. This is well meaning but incorrect. There are 5.7m minutes in 11 years, so this picture should read "If you held a minutes' silence for every Jew killed in the holocaust..."
Many other people were killed in the Holocaust. In fact 17 million, so you would be silent for 32 years not 11 if you included all of the Soviets, Poles, communists, gypsies, homosexuals, disabled, etc.
But as we know, this day has been taken over by the Jews and the other people who died are an afterthought. I am deeply sorry about the Jews, but I am equally sorry about the others - who most of the media choose to forget.
