Monday was a normal day, Tuesday I had PT, which was very needed and good. Wednesday I got some gaming in, yay! Thursday was the usual Germany groceries day with mum. On Friday, I went to the Zoo on my own for the very first time! Just a few hours, till it got too busy, but yay me!
All sorts of weather! From cold nights to a very warm day. And I am guessing weโll see more tain than it says in the forecast, as usually warmer weather also means more rain here.

Monday
Woke just a bit before the alarm. The scale wasnโt my friend, even though the health score wasnโt too bad. Maybe the training is slowly giving me some muscles back which made me gain some? ๐ค But I do still need to lose several kiloโsโฆ I got dressed, took my meds, cared for Arwen. When she was eating happily and her treats were in the right spots, I headed to the gym.

Checked my social bits online while waiting for the meds to kick in. A man approached me, I helped him a while ago when he lost his wallet at the gym, and he thanked me again, as it had really helped him to get his things back. ๐ I said it was my pleasure to have been able to help out, and then we both went to the p do our things. I rode the seated bike first, and after half an hour, I saw that the Smith Machine area was free. So I got my gloves and headed there. I added a wee bit of weight and did four sets. Three of 8 reps and the last one with ten. ๐ I had 2*6,25 kg on the bar, so including the bar (11,3 kg), Iโd been pushing 23,8 kilos. Not too shabby! ๐ After ten minutes in the massage chair, I got ready to head back home again.

I have Arwen her supplements, I washed up, and I fixed brekky. After brekky, Arwen and I got ready for walkies. It was a colder night, so Arwen was wearing her coat again. I guess she liked the warmth, as she had all the time for all the sniffs, while I was slowly becoming an ice popsicle ๐. We walked the โmediumโ route and some open spots where there was more windโฆ That was rather cold!
When we got back, I changed clothes and I headed upstairs. Rode the bike for 45 minutes and then I rowed for almost ten minutes. Changed clothes again and fixed some food. Then it was time to walk Arwen again. On the way back, bestie called me, so we chatted as she was riding to her work. In the meantime, Arwen and I had gotten home, so we were warm and comfortable again. ๐

When bestie had hung up, I went upstairs and I cleaned up the things that dad and I had used the previous day to hang the shelves. Then I changed the filters for the ventilation system. I hoovered the upstairs area. Back down, I hoovered there as well. A bit of relaxing on the couch. Then it was 9, and I could call (yay) PayPal, as my account was having issuesโฆ
I spent 38 (!!) minutes on the phone and apparently, it was an error with PayPal, and not with me! They could not reset my password for me, so I had to re-activate an older account so they could transfer the things to that account. As they could not get me logged in with their password reset optionsโฆ. I was drained after that call! But there was no time to relax, as I had to walk Arwen.
She was very lucky, as the neighbor was also out on walkies, so Arwen scored extra nomnoms. When we got back, I crashed on the couch a bit with some telly, as I was exhausted from the busy morning.

Then it was time to get ready for the last walkies of the day. I prepared everything and then I texted the neighbor. We headed out for walkies. The sun was nice but the wind was still rather chilly. We had a nice walk.
An hour on the couch and watching Supernatural, and then it was time for Arwenโs last wee, so I could head to bed. ๐
I had a decent enough night, but some weird dreams, so when I woke, I didnโt feel all rested. But hey ho, letโs start the new dayโฆ
Tuesday
Woke before the alarm. Had a bit of a restless night, so didnโt feel too fresh and recharged when I got up. The scale was an asshat to me, which of course was my own fault. Took the meds, cared for Arwen, and then headed to the gym.

Only rode the seated bike today, as I was feeling a bit blรคh and not interested in doing other things. Heck, it was even hard to motivate myself to ride the bike. I washed up, had brekky, and dressed myself and Arwen warmly for the walk. I tried to write on Masto and Friendica when my hands allowed me, but I also needed my gloves a bit due to the cold weather.
When we got back, I was tired and I still had to finish the journal blog post, so I stayed on the couch and I got my laptop. Worked on the blog and got the post finished. Fixed some food, and then Arwen and I went out for walkies again. Bestie didnโt call me today, so it was just me and Arwen with some music.

When we got back, I got myself to ride the hometrainer for half an hour. Back downstairs, I was so tired, so I just lay on the couch and watched some telly. I was afraid Iโd fall asleep and mess up my time schedule for my physio layer today. But I stayed awake and after a bit, I felt a wee bit better.
We headed out for walkies again, and Arwen was fortunate, as the neighbor and her dog were out as well. When we got back, I fixed some food. I relaxed a bit, and then let Arwen out for a wee. I fixed her food and headed to Cuijk.
PT went well, and due to the carnival, we had to change up a few upcoming appointments. But that was easily done. On the way back, I got my stuff from Lidl. I cleaned up the groceries and then I had about ten minutes before Arwen was ready for walkies with the neighbor again.
We had a good walk, the sun was nice but the wind was cold. I watched some telly as we got back, while I worked on getting meds out of blisters and into a bottle instead. Those blisters are not hand-friendly, so I always empty several boxes of the meds into a pill bottle instead.
Then it was time to get ready for bed. I struggled to fall asleep as my feet didnโt want to get warm. Then I woke up for the loo, all sweaty. Ugh, thanks hormonesโฆ I woke a few times during the night for the loo, so when I finally got up, I still felt a bit tired. But hey ho, letโs start the third Monday! ๐
Hump day / Wednesday
I woke before the alarm. I didnโt have a restful nightโฆ First I could not fall asleep as my feet were too cold. Then I woke up all sweaty. And I needed the loo several times. So yeah, I was up but didnโt feel too rested, unfortunately. The scale was an ass again, all my fault again as well, and I got dressed. Took meds, prepped Arwenโs food, and let her out for a weeโฆ Then she was eating happily and I left for the gym.
Caught up with my social media while waiting for the meds to kick in. A sweet friend had texted me, so I tried to catch up with them. Then I rode the seated bike for 40 minutes. Got my gloves after that and headed to the Smith Machine. Did two sets of ten reps with the 2*6,25+11,3 kg. Then changed the weights some and did two more sets of 8 reps with 2*7,5+11,3 kg. So a slight improvement, yay! Enjoyed a massage in the chair after that, and then I headed back home again.

Washed up, had brekky, and then Arwen and I got ready for walkies. It was not too cold but the wind was making the real feel a lot lower than the actual temperature. Brrrrโฆ But we managed a medium walkies and Arwen had her coat on, so she wasnโt too cold while getting all the sniffs. She hates it when I put it on, but she seems to enjoy the warmth it keeps her in. ๐
When we got back, I changed clothes and headed upstairs. Rode the bike for 45 minutes. Leg wasnโt interested in doing more, so I also could not row because of that. Bummer, but best to listen to my body. Changed clothes again and fixed some food.

Went out for walkies with Arwen. During the walkies my bestie called, so we had a nice chat together. We were home again when my friend got to work and had to hang up. I cleaned the kitchen a bit and I swept the floors some. I relaxed a bit with some telly.
After a while, I was rested again, and I got my dust towel thingie and I dusted off the entertainment bits. I didnโt do all the gaming cabinets, as my hands were too sore. But at least something had been done. ๐
I walked Arwen again. And she was fortunate, as she saw the neighbor again! Yay for nomnoms. ๐ When we got back, a sweet friend had texted about gaming together. So I fixed Arwen and myself some food and then I jumped online to join her for some No Manโs Sky. I was able to finish the expedition today, yay! My friend got closer to finishing it, yay as well.

My parcel came in time, so Arwen has new supplements again. I let the neighbor know and before I knew it, they were outside for walkies! So I quickly got ready to walk with them. We had a nice walk, but the wind was still so coldโฆ
Watched some telly till it was time to get ready for bed. Let Arwen out for a wee and then I went to bed. It didnโt take too long to fall asleep. And I woke up about 25 minutes to the alarm. I had slept all the way in one go, wowโฆ So I go up and ready to start my new day.
Thursday
I woke before the alarm. I really had to go, as I had slept in one go, where I usually wake at least once for the loo. So. I quickly got up and got to the loo and scale. Ugh, that scale is not my friendโฆ ๐ Got dressed and prepared the bits for Arwen. Let her out for a wee, then she got her meal and I got ready to head to the gym.

I worked on my socials while waiting for the meds to kick in. Then a ride on the seated bike. Followed by a short walk on the treadmill. A nice massage in the chair, and then I got ready to head back home again.

But she did it like a trooper, such a good gall. We got back earlier due to the shorter roundโฆ So I changed clothes and then headed upstairs.
Rode the hometrainer for a while. Then I went downstairs again, where I walked the treadmill for a wee bit, trying to get some more steps in. A change of clothes after that, and then I fixed some food. I got my things in Skoosh, as we were taking the recycling โป๏ธ cans with us to Germany. A short walk with Arwen and then we took Skoosh to head to Nijmegen.

Mum and I got their car and we headed to Kleve. Some groceries, some gasoline, more groceriesโฆ Then to Kranenburg for some doggy snacks. Onwards to Nijmegen for Kruidvat and Appie, where mum and I both got some good deals. I helped mum with her groceries, and when she was ready, we headed to the small woods.
Arwen did her best, but the way back went slowly, as her paw was giving her issues again. ๐ I got the groceries into the car and we headed back home again. Fixed food for Arwen, emptied most of the grocery bags, and then it was time to go for a walk with N&B. N wasnโt feeling too well, so we decided a short walk was better for both her and Arwen.
I relaxed a bit with some telly, and then Arwen got out for her last wee before bedtime. I got to bed and it didnโt take too long to fall asleep. After an hour, I woke sleepily from my phone, so I put it away and just drifted off again till about half an hour to the alarm time. Guess I was tired enough for a reasonably long and undisturbed nightโฆ ๐
I got up, the scale was a wee bit nicer, and I started my day, which should be a good one! ๐
Friday
I woke about half an hour before the alarm. I had slept in one go, which doesnโt happen too often for me! Got to the scale, got dressed, and prepped food for my gall. She went out for a wee, and then she was enjoying her food while I got to the gym. It was so warm tonight with it being 11ยฐC when I drove to the gymโฆ

Some relaxing after that, till we had to get ready for a short walk and the drive to Nijmegen. Arwen would be staying with my parents while I would visit the Zoo today. The journey to Nijmegen went faster than I had expected. So I waited a wee bit there before I headed to Arnhem for the Zoo. The trip went well too, and when I walked up from the parking, the gate was open, so I could have my card scanned and I headed inside.

It was amazing! The first hour was just magical, as it was so quiet! Even the indoor bits were quieter than usual. I spent two minutes watching a big snake slide by, and there was just me thereโฆ ๐ I tried to take many snaps and some vids. Around 10:30 it was getting busier, especially as the weather was getting warmer and all. So around 11, I headed back to the gates, and wow, it was really filling up now!

Headed to bed and it didnโt take too long to fall asleep. I woke once for the loo, and then about half an hour to the alarm. So I got up and started the new day. Which was said to become a wet one, as there were a few warnings for rainโฆ Ughโฆ Bummer!
Saturday
I woke up a bit before the alarm was set to go off. I had been awake a few times for the loo during the night, so I felt a wee bit broken. But yeah, I got up and all that. The scale wasnโt too bad, although the weight was still too high. Got dressed and took my meds. Prepped Arwenโs bits and took her outside for a wee. I fixed her food and she was eating happily when I put the snacks in their places and I left for the gym.

It was a warm night at 10ยฐC, and even though I had a T-shirt on under my jacket, I was still rather warm. Arwen walked pretty well for most of the walk until we came to the point where we had to decide to walk further or head back. She started limping as soon as we got closer to the splitting path. ๐ค Of course I could not know if her paw was really bothering her, so we went for the short round. As soon as we crossed the street, she started to walk better again!!! ๐ I feel like Iโve been punked by my gall! ๐
When we got back, I got to the hometrainer, and I rode it for an hour. After that, I fixed some food and enjoyed that. Arwen and I went out for walkies after that, and I took her for a little longer walk now, as sheโd duped me during the previous walk! ๐ The promised rain was slowly falling, but I had my umbrella, so it was OK I guess.

I started the laundry after we got back. First the normal load, and after that, I wanted to wash my winter jacket, as I would not need it for a while now, and it was in need of a good rinse. But, even with an extra centrifuge round, it was still soaking wet. ๐ค So I hung it out in the shower, as I could definitely not tsk that upstairs! I wonder why the machine had issues centrifuging the jacketโฆ
While the first load was being washed, I hit the treadmill for half an hour, to get some extra steps in. When the jacket was being washed, I got my laptop and I worked on my blog a bit. After that, I decided that I should try to hook up the Wii. It was in the cabinet, but it wasnโt hooked up to anything. I worked with the cables, and I found the HDMI converter that I got. I still need to hook up the HDMI splitter to the TV. But I feel I need more power bits behind the TV, so I wonder how Iโll manage thatโฆ ๐ค

When I was done, I relaxed a bit, and then it was time for walkies with Arwen. When we were just out, the neighbor and her dog came walking up, so Arwen had a good time. ๐
After I had swept the floors, I went to the couch and I wanted to game. But I just felt too tiredโฆ So I ended up watching telly and scrolling through the Fedi instead. Then it was time to prepare for the afternoon walkies. We had a good walk, and it was dry, so that was a plus. Even though I did take the umbrella with meโฆ ๐
I watched TV for another hour or so, and then I prepped everything for bedtime. Arwen did a last wee and then I headed to bed. It took a little while to doze off, thanks to my phone being annoying, but when I finally fell asleep, I slept till about 15 minutes to the alarm.
I felt a bit tired, but I was ready to start a new day!

I woke a wee bit before the alarm. The scale was nicer, weight-wise, but somehow my muscles and fat percentages had big (negative) changes. ๐ค I got dressed, took my meds, and cared for Arwen. When she was enjoying her meal, I put out the snacks and headed to the gym.

When we got back, I headed to the hometrainer and I rode that for an hour. Then I checked the laundry. It was dry, so I took it off and folded it, before heading back downstairs. I took my winter jacket upstairs, so it could dry some more on the rack. Fixed some food, and after that, Arwen and I had a little walk.

I tried to entertain my brain with the FediVerse, but the Friendica node had many issues, which was driving me a bit crankyโฆ ๐ It came and went too often, and when it came, it didnโt respond well most of the timeโฆ. ๐
Had another walk with Arwen, who was disappointed that she didnโt see her friend. But she wanted earlier walkies so I told her that this could happenโฆ We relaxed a bit on the couch, watching telly and feeling so tired due to my busy brain.

Watched some more telly till it was time to get ready forโฆ Walkies with N&B. ๐ Happy times for Arwen. We walked the longer route again and the dogs seemed to enjoy it. Another hour of telly and then I got ready to head to bed. Arwen did a last wee, and off we went to the land of snooze.
I woke twice for the loo, and then a minute before the alarm was set to go off. Letโs start the new week!

I have bought toys for Arwen in the past, but she's only really been interested in tennis balls when out for walkies, especially when in the woods or at the water side. These days, she can't play that much anymore, but she still loves it when she can...
