Ok Iโm a bit late for the morning post, but in my defense, & I suggest regular Squirrel fans sit down for this, Iโve been out in the garden working on the pond!
I need to de-populate th triffid bed that filters the water because they is big & bad & taking over - itโs like 70% triffid 30% gravel at the moment! Also there has been a persistent leak which I think is due to the plants pushing the water level up.
Iโll write this all up tonight in my diary, for those who want more!

I've been trying to distract myself from eating... Unnecessary overeating, as my eating disorder loves to do...
Been browsing all corners of the Fedi. Trying to like posts that helped to distract me. Trying to find friends to add here on Friendica. Watching telly while scrolling through loads of messages...
So far, it's been helping me! Fingers crossed ๐ค๐ป that I can keep this up.
Dog walkies with the neighbor and her dog in about half an hour. Then till 15:30, where I'll let Arwen out for another wee before I'll head to bed.
I really hope I can suppress this feeling of "hunger", as I know it's not real... Stupid eating disorder... ๐

I did eat something, but, I chose a healthier option, so it was more filling and lesser on the calories. I hope it helps me to relax enough so that in less than an hour, I can drift off in the land of snooze.... ๐ด

Trying to resist the binge urge.
I know I'm not really hungry.
I know I've eaten enough.
But the brain hungers for unhealthy stuff...
Trying to distract myself with my phone and the telly.
I don't need unhealthy food.
Brain wants it. But it's not what it needs.
Fingers crossed ๐ค๐ป that I'll be strong enough to resist.
If I keep my eating under a certain amount of "killer calories", I may finally be able to shred some weight.

Posing a question for the hardware techies out there.
If I had a 13th/14th Generation Intel Core i7/i9 and my BIOS has not been updated to include the microcode that mitigates the Vmin Shift Instability issue, and now my games are crashing with increasing frequency, what would I need to do to get up and running again?

Hmmm I dunno what's up (or down...) with Friendica.world but it keeps coming and going this morning.
Also, I have issues with PeerTube not "tooting" when my new vids have been published. Or, when they do toot, it takes a long time, even though the site said it's been published for quite some time...
Maybe tech doesn't like me that much today...
It's been raining for a while now, and it doesn't look like it's gonna be dry when we head out for walkies in about an hour.
Laundry has been done, and I'm now washing the winter jacket, as it needed a rinse, and it's finally warm enough to not need the jacket for a while...
I'll finish the blog bit as far as I can now, and then I'll relax with some telly till it is time for another walkies.

Good Morning & Happy Saturday to everyone.
Just one small thought about Northern Ireland and our politicians. As you all know they all grease their way over to Washington for the glad handing every St Patrick's Day.
BUT this year Sinn Fรฉin AREN'T going - yes the party who you would most identity with St Patrick's & Irishness.
BUT the DUP, Unionist & British, ARE going, Little-Use will be front and centre.
Honestly, this year's American photo op would be one I would be giving a wide berth!

As a follow up will NI's unelected bureaucrat get anytime with America's unelected bureaucrat?
The DUP may think the White House has a distinctly orange tint to it but I would say it is looking very red these days.
I suspect this decision won't hurt Sinn Fรฉin as much as FF/DUP would like it too.

Three Good Things 
for this week (the 5 days between the weekends ๐)
1. Even though my weight didn't go down, my health score improved slightly, due to some fat loss and muscle gains.
2. Tried to be active, even when wr couldn't walk the longer routes due to Arwen's paw.
3. Went to the zoo by myself for the first time, just a few hours, but I really enjoyed it!

Arwen walked better for a long time. When we got closer to the point where we decide on the shorter or longer walk... She started to limp! We went the short way, and now she's walking normal again. OK, a very slight limp is visible...
So I guess she feels better but not good enough for a longer walk yet!
And I'm wearing my light winter jacket with a t-shirt under it, and I'm sweaty... When there's no real wind, that 10ยฐC can feel rather warm! ๐

Uploading of the Zoo snaps takes a bit longer, as I'm using the alt texts that Bing makes for me to the description boxes of the snaps on Flickr as well. First time I've been adding the alt texts to Flickr, but in an attempt to make my snaps more accessible, why not use the text on Flickr as well?
