A mixed week. Some appointments, some relaxing, some chores, some gaming. Weather went into different directions as well, with warm, sunny wet, windy, and colderโฆ Tried to get some exercises in, but I had big ideas, which didnโt all work out, due to my body (and brain) sabotaging me. But, I did get some chores and tasks done, and I enjoyed some gaming, alone and with friends, so that was good. And, of course, there were many nice walkies with Arwen, although some were a wee bit wetโฆ

Monday
I woke one minute before the alarm! Got up, did my usual thing. The scale was not too bad, I guess, but of course I wanted it to be betterโฆ Guess Iโll have to do better then as wellโฆ. ๐ Ughโฆ I got dressed, took my meds, prepared Arwenโs food. Took her out so she could wee, then fixed her meal. Put out the snacks and then I got my bag to head to the gym.

Checked my social bits online, while enjoying the protein shake, and waiting for the meds to kick in. I started at the seated bike and at some point, I realized that the gym was very quiet! The music was off, which I never mind. But, I was the only one there as well! So I took advantage and recorded a little clip of me using the Smith Machine. ๐ Nothing too fancy though, but it was fun to do this again. Then I used the massage chair before I got ready to head back home again.

Cared for Arwenโs paw, washed up, changed clothes, and had brekky. Then Arwen and I headed out for walkies. There was a chance of rain, to I took my umbrella. Fortunately, I didnโt need it. ๐ I tried to walk a longer route again, and after a while, Arwen indicated that she needed to shorten it. We could do that, so we did. It was a good walk, a bit slow, but we made it.
When we got back, Arwen went to the land of snooze, and I went upstairs to ride the hometrainer. I rode it for 45 minutes. Then I headed back down, and fixed some food. There was some slight rain when Arwen and I went out for walkies. But Arwen didnโt mind. She was a bit disappointed that we didnโt see her friend though.

When we got back, I relaxed a bit on the couch. Wrote a bit for my blog while watching some telly. Then I got my bag, and I headed to the supermarket for some foods. After I got back, I watched a bit more telly, and then I went out for walkies with Arwen again. This time she was lucky, as she did see her friend now.
We got back, and I went to the couch with some more telly. I was just feeling so tiredโฆ After I had given Arwen some food, she indicated she wanted short walkies. So, we went out again when we were almost back, the neighbor and her dog came out, so of course we needed extra walkies then! ๐
Some more telly time until it was time for the usual afternoon walkies. The weather was wet and windy so that was a bummerโฆ But we had a decent walk, and Arwen had found some nice muddy puddles to enjoy! ๐
Watched some telly while spending some time on Fedi. Then the last wee for Arwen before we headed to sleep.
It didnโt take too long to fall asleep. I woke once for the loo, and then about 8 minutes before the alarm was set to go off. I had some weird dreams, so it wasnโt the most restful night. But still, it wasnโt too badโฆ
Tuesday
I woke before the alarm. Got to the scale. Nope, weโre still not back to being friends yetโฆ Got dressed, I took my meds, cared for Arwen. When she was happily eating, I put out the snacks and headed to the gym.

Tried to catch up with my social media, and when the meds had kicked in, and the protein shake had been enjoyed, I started on the seated bike. After half an hour, my leg was done. My muscles were still sore from the โletโs do this bitโ in the free gym in Sunday night, so I headed to the massage chair. After my ten minutes were up, I got ready to head home again.

Washed up, changed clothes, had brekky. Then Arwen and I headed out for walkies. The weather was decent enough, so Arwen got in all the sniffs. We walked between the short and the medium walkies, so it wasnโt too bad.
When we got back, I got my laptop and worked to finish my journal blog post. It took a bit longer than I had thought it would. I went to the treadmill after that and walked for half an hour at a slow pace, but with a slight incline.

Fixed some food, and then walked with Arwen. We saw the neighbor and her dog and chatted a bit. When we got home, I wrote a bit for my blog while chatting some on social media. Arwen wanted another walkies, so we headed out. Some relaxing after that. Then I fixed her food, had another short walk, and then I got ready to head to Cuijk.
Physio was good. Next time will be in three weeks, so it will be a long whileโฆ Iโll first have the puncture, and maybe Iโll know a bit more by the time I have my appointment. Although the doc has a calling appointment scheduled two weeks after the puncture, so I may not know anything then yetโฆ.

On the way back, I got some groceries at Lidl. A quick drink when I got home and then it was time to walk with N&B. We had a nice walk so that was fun. An hour of telly watching, then I let Arwen out for a last wee. I headed to bed and it didnโt take too long to fall asleep.
Woke once for the loo. And then again, an hour before my alarm. But I had some weird dreams, so I was wide awake. I got up, and started my dayโฆ
Hump day / Wednesday
I woke an hour before the alarm. I had some weird dreams so I was rather awake and not interested in sleeping some more. Got to the scale, yeah, ughโฆ I took my meds, cared for Arwen, and then I got my bag and headed to the gym.

Enjoyed my protein shake while I waited for the meds to kick in. Checked my socials and then I got to the cardio bits. Did ten minutes on the crosstrainer and then half an hour on the seated bike. Enjoyed the massage chair before I got ready to head home again.

Washed up, had brekky, and dressed properly, as it was raining loads! Like it had to catch up a bit for us having had some dry daysโฆ Of course Arwen had all the sniffs. So I was glad with my rain pants and umbrellaโฆ As expected, Arwen didnโt want the longer walkies. And this time, I totally agreed! Bloody rainโฆ
When we got back, and we were dried and changed, I headed upstairs to ride the hometrainer. Of course, then I didnโt hear the rain on the window anymore and it got dryโฆ Just our luckโฆ ๐ I rode the bike for a while and then I did a few โrollsโ with the abs roller that I have. Below that big blob thatโs my belly, there must be some muscles thereโฆ ๐ค When I got down, I also walked half an hour on the treadmill, to make up for the shorter round with Arwen.

I fixed some food and then Arwen and I headed out for walkies. It was dry still, but very muddy. She had a decent walk and did her things. During the walk, my head started aching. It was like my ADHD was running wild again, this time causing big discomforts. When we got home, I scheduled an appointment with the GP, but yeah, itโs in three weeks. They had some earlier slots, but never when it was convenient for me. Ah wellโฆ
I lay on the couch with the telly on for a while. Iโd taken a painkiller, so I was hoping that this would helpโฆ Then I wrote a bit for my blog. Another walkies with Arwen, and she was fortunate to run into N&Bโฆ Nomnoms!

When we got back, I switched on the PS5 and started No Manโs Sky. I finished the expedition and got back to the main save. But something went wrong and I didnโt get one of the rewards. It said I claimed it, but it wasnโt thereโฆ ๐ค So I wrote a ticket to the game company, maybe they can help me outโฆ Fingers crossedโฆ
I gamed till it was time to get ready for walkies again. The parcels that were coming both arrived at a good time. I unpacked it and started to install some of it. Will do the rest soon, I hope. And then, again, fingers crossedโฆ that it will all work as intended.
We had a good walk with N&B. I watched some telly until it was time for Arwenโs last wee before bed time. It didnโt take too long to fall asleep. I woke twice during the night, and then when the alarm woke me. Thursday was about to begin!
Thursday
Got up with the alarm. I had a kind of restless night, where I had some weird dreams and I woke a few times for the looโฆ So when my alarm went off, I wasnโt really prepared to get upโฆ But, I did. Got to the scale, which was rather unkind. OK, the weight was down some, but so was my health scoreโฆ Got dressed and I took my meds. Cared for Arwen. She was eating happily when I put out the snacks and grabbed my bag. Onwards to the gym.

A very sweet friend had texted me some updates, so I was rather busy with catching up. I did ride the seated bike for half an hour. And I enjoyed the massage chair. But I didnโt do anything else. And it felt bad, in a way, but maybe it was just what I needed this nightโฆ

I got home, washed up, changed clothes, and enjoyed brekky. They predicted some rain, with a 50-60% chance, so I was prepared. The walkies went well, we did a medium one, with a slight short cut. At the shortcut, I just told Arwen that we were fortunate with the weather. So of course it poured down within three minutes from then! ๐ Will I never learn? ๐ค
When we got back, I got upstairs and I rode the hometrainer for a while. Then I went down to fix some food. After that, I prepared the bits for heading to Nijmegen and Germany today. When all was in the car, I walked Arwen and then we were on our way.

Mum and I took Skoosh to Germany, so I could fill her up there. We got the groceries we needed and headed to the Appie for some other bits. A quick stop at Jumbo for mum and then we headed back home. I sorted the groceries and took some to the cellar for mum. She got the bits in the right places, and then, when she had some coffee, we headed to the small woods.
The dogs had a nice time there, although Arwen missed her ball. But the way sheโs been walking lately, I didnโt want to make things worse with a ball. Sheโll get her injection tomorrow, so hopefully sheโll feel a bit better after thatโฆ.
When we got back, I got the groceries and then Arwen and I headed back home. I unpacked half of the groceries, fixed food for Arwen and myself, and then I relaxed till it was time for walkies with N&B.
We were very fortunate, as we had dry walkies! As soon as we got homeโฆ It started to rain! There was a new โFoundโ episode so I watched that before I got ready for bed.
I was a bit cold so I used the heated blanket to fall asleep. Of course I woke a bit later feeling way too hot! ๐ But I had a decent night and woke about 15 minutes to the alarm. Ready to start a new dayโฆ Itโs almost weekend!!
Friday
I woke just before the alarm. The scale was kinder today, which was nice. ๐ Got dressed, took meds, cared for Arwen, and when she was happily eating, I put out the snacks and headed to the gym.

I checked up with the social media bits. And then I got to the seated bike. Rode for half an hour. Then I walked one km on the treadmill, mostly with a slight incline. I enjoyed a massage in the chair and then I drove back home again.

Washed up, had brekky, and got ready to head out in SniffiVerseโข walkies with Arwen. The weather was dry, though a bit colder. Arwen walked rather well and got many sniffs in. Until we came to the place where we can head back home early. She immediately started limping again! ๐ค As the weather wasnโt too bad, and as sheโd been walking a lot better than that, I took her for a bit longer walk. Not all the way to the roundabout, but a bit longer nevertheless. Andโฆ A few meters later, Arwen was walking better again! ๐ค We took things slow enough, and Arwen had all the sniffsโฆ
When we got back, I changed my shoes and headed upstairs. I rode the hometrainer for an hour. Then I headed back down, fixed food and enjoyed it. A walkies after that. And, Arwen was lucky, as she ran into her friend again. The neighbor didnโt have snacks, but she was happy with the cuddles nevertheless. ๐

We were back again, and I settled on the couch. I played a little of No Manโs Sky, and then we had to get ready to head to the vet. Arwen got her cuddles and the injection, I got the bill! ๐ I had wanted to visit the new Lidl on the way back, but it was rather busy, and Arwen was with me, so Iโll go there early next Monday and check it out. ๐
We went on walkies again, and when we were almost back, Arwen saw the neighbor again! This time with nomnoms, so she was a very happy gall! ๐ After walkies I had some food and then I logged back in to No Manโs Sky, this time with a very sweet friend. We had a very nice chat while we were gaming.

Then, when I was saving the game, I got a text about walkies. B was a bit earlier todayโฆ So we quickly got ready. And we had a nice walk together, even with some lovely sun! I watched some telly after that, until it was time to get ready for bed. Arwen did her wee and then I dove in bed.
It didnโt take too long to fall asleep. Although I did wake up after a while with some bad heartburnโฆ Took some meds and then, after a while, I fell asleep again. Woke once more for the loo, and then when my alarm told me it was time to get up again. Ready to start the weekend!
Saturday
I woke when the alarm told me it was time to get up. I was a bit confused as I didnโt even realize that it was the alarm that woke me at firstโฆ Whoops! ๐ซฃ I got to the scale, got dressed, I took my meds, and I cared for Arwen. When she was happily eating, I got my bag and headed to the gym. Had to be careful at some spots, due to (drunk?) carnival folks being out and about. But all went well.

I wish I could walk faster, but I have to keep my bad hip happyโฆ After that, I changed clothes and I fixed some food. I got my laptop, and started working on my journal post. We went out for short walkies, and Arwen saw her friend again, so she was happy, even though there were no nomnoms involved. When we got back, I worked on the blog some more. The dishwasher was doing its magic, and the washing machine did that too. When it was done, I hung the stuff out. And I managed to unpack one box as well, yay for that! ๐
I worked some more on my blog, and then my eyes started to annoy me, so I saved it all and put the laptop away. I finally hooked up the HDMI hub. Iโve not tried it out yet, but the TV did say it saw it so thatโs good. It should connect the Blu-ray, the Wii, and the PS2 when Iโm done with it.
I watched some telly while lying on the couch with Arwen. Then, Arwen wanted walkies so we headed out. Of course we ran into her friend, guess that was the reason she wanted out so badly ๐.
I first swept the floors, as we had our one beach inside the house againโฆ Then, I fixed us some food and after that, we relaxed on the couch together. I watched some more Person of Interest, while also scrolling some on the Fedi.
Around 13:15, the neighbor texted that she was at Ikea, so she wasnโt going to make it for walkiesโฆ Bummer for Arwen (and me). We went on walkies by ourselves, but Arwen kept checking the surroundings, just in case I was wrong and her friend was there! Well, he wasnโt so she had to make due with me.
We watched some more telly before I got so tired that I got ready for bed 15 minutes early. Fortunately, Arwen did a quick wee and then we got to bed. It didnโt take too long to fall asleep.

Happy Sundog / Sunday
The alarm woke me and I didnโt feel like I was ready to start the day. Iโve had some weird dreams, so I didnโt feel all that rested, unfortunatelyโฆ But hey, I got up and started my routine. The scale could be better, but it could be worse too, I guess. Got dressed and I took my meds. Prepped Arwenโs food and let her out for a wee. She was doing her thing while I used the ice scraper to clean Skooshโs windows some. Apparently, it was cold enough for frozen windowsโฆ I gave Arwen her food and snacks, and I headed to Skoosh. Started her up, and managed to clean the rest of the windows. Then, onwards to the gym!

I washed up, changed clothes to something warmer, and had brekky. Then, Arwen and I headed out for walkies. It was dry and it didnโt feel too cold. At one point, Arwen got very excited. I didnโt understand, until I saw a drunk dude, with a 4-pack of beers with him, lying in the bushes, sleeping it offโฆ. ๐ซฃ It was so coldโฆ But as it was just me and Arwen, and the dude did move, I just dragged Arwen along. I had to drag her along some more, as some spots seemed to be more popular for the males to urinateโฆ ๐คข The smells of stale beer and urine made me drag Arwen along someโฆ The joys of the Carnaval, I guessโฆ
We walked the โin-betweenโ walkies. Not the short ones, not the medium ones, but in between that. Arwen got all the sniffs. And I got to play with my phone someโฆ ๐ When we got back, I switched clothes and I headed upstairs. I rode the hometrainer for 45 minutes. Then I folded up yesterdayโs laundry. I also managed to clean up some more bits. ๐

When we got back, I tinkered with the HDMI and the game consoles. I could not get the Blu-ray to work through the switch, but the PS3, and later the PS2, seemed to be working from it! Yay!

I hoovered the floors and then it was time to walk Arwen again. So when we got back, I wondered if I had hoovered at all, with all the sand on Arwen! ๐ I fixed us some food, and then I watched some Cold Case through the PS3. I was charging the controllers and that can only work when theyโre connected by USB to the console. So while they charged, I just watched some telly. When they were done, I wanted to play a game on the PS5. But Arwen had other plans, she wanted out again. Andโฆ Againโฆ She ran into her friend! No nomnoms, but still many cuddles.

Then I could finally play a game. I decided to play something on PS+. I saw a new game in the collection, called โLost Records: Bloom & Rageโ. It was a game that seemed to be my โcup of teaโ, so I started it and enjoyed it till it was time to walk Arwen again.
We had a nice walk with N&B, and there was even some sun! When we got back, I played the game some more, till it was time to get ready for bed.
It didnโt take too long to fall asleep. I woke once for the loo. And then again, just a few minutes before the alarm was set to go offโฆ Ready to start a new week! Although I did feel a bit sleepy stillโฆ
