the Blue Screen of Death …


A four-sided twisted pillar located in a morning-empty shopping mall. The pillar is covered with a computer screen to show ads on it. There are two escalators beside it, mounted in opposing directions so they form an X from our point of view. Their sides and undersides are covered in mirrors. The ad-pillar is reflected in those mirrors. When the photographer took the photos, the pillar's screen showed the infamous Microsoft Blue Screen of Death (a full-screen error message, in white text on a blue background). This image shows the same ad-pillar, but from another direction.
