I can see myself keeping both of my Mastodon servers, possibly one as a backup. Partly because I don't trust myself not to break the one that I can make changes to, and also because the host of the other one is great and very efficient with installing updates 😂

It's a good thing I've been exploring other hosting options for my Fediverse stuff, as K&T Hosting are sadly going out of business. They have been great, and I have loved having my Pixelfed and Sharkey instances hosted by them. I'm sad to see them go.

When I add images to a post on my Sharkey, they are blurry and unusable, but they are ok on other sites and Sharkey instances/servers. I have enabled object storage. Is there some sort of setting I may have missed? #Sharkey

I'd love to, but from what I've experienced, it's not that reliable, and I'd still have to find a host if I wanted my own.
It is constantly improving. And, yet this instance, although not 100% reliable has gained mort than 4000 members.
Furthermore, the fediverse concept allows seamless communications with other software like mastodon.

I’ve just finished The Moon Embracing the Sun. I started watching this as Netflix said it was leaving but then they changed their mind. These KDramas always take me a while to get into, but I was hooked by the end! I loved the ending too. #TheMoonEmbracingTheSun #KDrama
